Parents' and Friends' Association
Every St Hilda’s parent is a member of the P&F whose aim is to involve parents in social functions for friendship, fun and fundraising.
Events
Social events include the Sundowner held at the beginning of the year and the Quiz Night held in June.
Meetings
Regular meetings are held throughout the year and everyone is welcome. A committee of members is elected at the Annual General Meeting which is held each November. A nominated spokesperson from this committee represents the parent body on the School Council.
Meetings take place in the staff room, June Jones Teaching and Learning Centre, Bay View Campus at 7.30pm. All parents are welcome to attend.

Sub-groups of the Parents' and Friends' Association
St Hilda's Auxiliary
The Auxiliary is the working arm of the Parents’ and Friends’ Association. Members provide support and service to the school community by organising class functions and special events. All parents (both Mums and Dads) are welcome to join the Auxiliary.
Volunteering
Class parents in each Year group host regular parent get-together activities. These may be a picnic, BBQ, morning or afternoon tea, sundowner, drinks after work or a cocktail party. Events are relaxed and well attended and offer a good opportunity for families to mingle and get to know each other.
Events
The Auxiliary has a very busy agenda of functions including a new parents’ morning tea and an annual Fashion Parade in addition to supporting Parents’ and Friends’ events and initiatives.

DASH - Friends of Drama at St Hilda’s
DASH assists the Drama Department with a variety of productions. These include the Year 12 Production, the Senior School Production, the Year 6 Production and various smaller performances.
MASH - Friends of Music at
St Hilda’s
This is an active parents’ support group for the Music Department.
SupPORT - Friends of Sport at St Hilda’s
This is a wonderful group for parents who wish to support their daughter’s sporting pursuits. The SupPORT team host breakfasts for students two to three times a week depending on the sports being played over the term. Volunteers assist in coordinating various sporting events and activities which includes helping at sports carnivals and events, collating equipment and manning refreshment stalls.
FOLASH - Friends of Library at St Hilda’s
FOLASH is the parent support group for the Library at St Hilda's. Members meet for shelf-reading once or twice a term, and also assist in a variety of tasks which include categorising and shelving books or CDs, covering or magnetising books. FOLASH also helps to coordinate various displays in the Library including Year group collages, displays on current affairs or countries and more. The library staff are always grateful for volunteers who help with the many activities throughout the year.
All parents are welcome to join. This is a lovely way to make new friends, find out what is going on in the School, and contribute to the smooth running of our beautiful libraries.
Rowing Support Group - RSG
The Rowing Support Group is dedicated to St Hilda’s rowing and parents fulfill a vital role in supporting their daughters in this winter pursuit.
Whitby Parents
The Whitby Parents' group enables former parents to keep in touch with each other and the School. It hosts two social events annually, usually in June and November. Whitby Parents also enjoy being part of other P&F events.
