Every St Hilda’s parent is a member of the Parents' and Friends' Association, whose aim is to involve parents in social functions for friendship, fun and fundraising. A Committee is elected at an Extraordinary General Meeting in November each year.
Nivirithi’s daughter is in Year 8 in 2021. She has been President of the St Hilda's P&F since 2020 and has been a class representative for 3 years. This opportunity has allowed her to work very closely with the parents, teachers and students of St Hilda's and helped build stronger relationships with the wider community whilst hosting events. She has also learnt a lot from being part of a very strong and striving P&F committee, that has promoted integration, community awareness and fundraising events, to form a larger and wider community network. As President of the P&F, she draws on and seeks guidance from the St Hilda’s community, and brings to the role personal experiences as both a parent and educator.
Siva is a Specialist Orthodontist currently engaged in private practice in Claremont, South Perth and Jandakot. He completed his professional training at the University of Western Australia, Princess Margaret Hospital, the University of Sydney, Westmead Hospital, Boston Children’s Hospital and Harvard University. Siva and his wife, Sally, are the proud parents of Chase, Stella, and Allegra. Siva originally joined the P&F Committee in 2016, and previously served in the role of Secretary of the P&F, and as a Class Representative. Siva is excited to continue his involvement within the St Hilda’s blossoming community.
Anthea together with her husband, Tim, manages their family farm in Beverley where they live. They have two children attending boarding school at St Hilda’s; Abbey in Year 12 and Ella in Year 10. Anthea has been on the Boarder Connect Group and was also a Year Rep in 2020. She joined the P&F in 2019 and is looking forward to continuing to be an active member of the St Hilda’s Community. She is a voice for boarders on the P&F and wants to help promote the integration of the boarding community with the wider school community.
En is a Chartered Accountant and director at Stirling Partners, a local tax and business advisor firm located in Nedlands, Western Australia. En and his wife, Kin have 2 daughters in Junior School; Hannah in Year 4 and Hope in Year 2. He joined the P&F in 2020 and is keen to continue contributing his accounting experience in this role of Treasurer. He believes in a practical approach and would like to stimulate greater engagement with the parent community.
David is an experienced corporate transaction lawyer currently engaged in management consultancy and executive performance coaching and mentoring. Prior to relocating to Perth, David practised law for over 30 years with premier international law firm Baker & McKenzie in Australia, England and Hong Kong. He also held senior management positions with Baker & McKenzie having served as Managing Partner for Hong Kong/ Vietnam/China and Head of Asia Pacific Mergers and Acquisitions. David and his wife, Emma Hanrahan, have three daughters in Years 7, 9 and 11. David joined the P&F in November 2018 and is committed to supporting St Hilda’s continued growth and improvement as a leadings girls’ school. He is also keen to foster strong bonds and effective communication between the school staff and St Hilda’s parents.
Shahron has a daughter boarding in Year 12, Lauren, and another daughter who graduated in 2019. She is from the wheatbelt town of Corrigin, runs a farming business and teaches relief at the local high school. Having been an active member of her local farming community and local school Shahron felt that distance should not prevent her from being able to contribute to the years her daughters spent with the St Hilda Community. She belongs and contributes to the St Hilda Boarder Connect Group, was a year representative and is now enjoying her time on the P&F, giving back to the school in some small way.
Jane is a sustainability and external affairs professional who has worked mainly in the resources sector as a regulator, practitioner and consultant. She also has many years of volunteer work with not-for-profit organisations, including roles on the board of the Fairbridge Festival, as well as with local government representative groups and other organisations. Jane, and her husband, Peter, have a daughter, Frances, who is in Year 12 and joined the St Hilda's community in mid-2020. Jane appreciates the importance of developing and implementing a strategic and outcomes focussed approach that supports the overall organisation's goals while making people feel included and valued. She is very pleased to actively contribute to the strategic goals of the St Hilda's school community through her work on the P&F committee.
Julia has over 20 years’ experience working in regional and remote Australia and serving on Boards in the Not For Profit, Government, Mining and Community sectors. Her subject matter expertise is aboriginal affairs, politics and economic development.
From 2009 - 2019 Julia was the CEO of the Goldfields Indigenous Housing Organisation (GIHO) in Kalgoorlie and she was an active board member in the community housing, homelessness and childcare sectors.
Recently moved to Perth, Julia is a Stakeholder and Community Relations Advisor for Downer.

All parents are encouraged to attend Committee meetings as well as P&F parent mixers and other parent support group meetings. All meeting dates are listed in the weekly newsletters and the School web calendar. Our parent volunteer network contributes their time each year mostly organised through the P&F Association and other support groups. This is a valuable resource and reflects the strong and sustained sense of community at St Hilda's.

P&F - Entertainment Book
The Entertainment Book is now 100% digital as a convenient Phone App and will relaunch in March with an Early Bird special offer and incentives. There are now three different levels of membership; $70 for a Single City membership, $120 for a Multi City membership that entitles you to discounts across the country, and $229 for a 2 year membership valid across Australia, New Zealand and Bali.
Membership will tick over from the day of activation for twelve months and members will benefit from all new businesses that sign up to the program throughout the year.
