New Zealand Ski Tour
Tuesday 18 July
During the first week of the school holidays, 51 students and 6 staff members left cold and rainy Perth to go on the Year 11 Ski Tour to New Zealand.
After a day exploring Queenstown and trying the local specialities of fudge and Fergburgers, the group headed up to Cardrona Ski Resort where they spent the next six days skiing and snowboarding.
While the sun shone brightly, the freezing temperatures allowed for good snowfall on the slopes of Cardrona.
While some girls started the tour as beginners, most had mastered the slopes by the end, and were even seen hitting up the black runs and the moguls.
