Jay Barker works in a global role at Rio Tinto in the areas of organisational effectiveness, leadership and culture. Since joining Rio Tinto in 2018, she has held several strategic roles and is currently part of the Future People Transformation team.
Prior to this, Jay was a Senior Manager at EY (Management Consulting), where she led complex change and transformation projects across diverse industries. She holds a Bachelor of Science/Arts from the University of Western Australia and a Master of Science (Public Health) from the University of London.
With strong expertise in change management and business transformation, Jay brings insight, empathy and strategic vision to her work. She is also a St Hilda’s Old Scholar and a current parent, maintaining a deep and ongoing connection to the School community.
