Groups and Accommodation
We will divide the students in to smaller groups for certain activities, but for the most part they will experience the program as a class.
The students will spend both nights in dormitory accommodation.
Students will be transported on Horizons West coaches to and from Kooringal. Seat belts are fitted. Students will be accompanied by their classroom teacher and an additional Junior School staff member.
Students need to provide their own lunch on the first day. All other snacks & meals will be supplied throughout the program.
The School accommodates specific medical dietary requirements as indicated on a student’s medical records or the camp sign up form. If students have alternative diets due to lifestyle choices, they will need to be flexible while participating in the outdoor education program. It is becoming unmanageable to accommodate the increasing non-medical food requests we are receiving. A vegetarian option is always offered so please let us know on the sign up form if your daughter wishes to have these meals.
Could students please take a small day pack on the coach with their lunch, water bottle & hat. Students need to pack their remaining luggage in their school sports bag or similar small bag. Suitcases are not suitable.
The consent link and program will be emailed to all families in Term 4.
