Compulsory Curriculum Program - Year 5 Point Walter Day

Point Walter Adventure Day

The Year 5 Point Walter Adventure day will be held on Friday 8 March 2019. Students will be split into mixed class groups and will participate in the following activities.

  • Connecting with nature session run by class teachers
  • Visual art session
  • Introductory stand-up paddle board
  • Walk from Point Walter and Bicton Baths

Program Date: Friday 8 March 2019

Time: 8.30am – 3.00pm.

Food: Students will require a packed recess and a full water bottle. Lunch will be provided. Students with dietary requirements listed on the School’s medical database will be catered for.

Transport: Students will be transported on Horizon West buses. The bus will depart promptly at 8.30am.

Staff / Supervision: Students will be split into groups. Each group will have Junior School Staff members and our St Hilda’s Outdoor Education staff will oversee the stand-up paddle board session.

What to wear: PE uniform for the day which includes: Tracksuit top, PE blue shirt, shorts, school sneakers and blue PE socks. Students will also need to pack their hat, sunscreen, St Hilda’s bathers, rashie and towel in a small day pack suitable for carrying while walking.
