Rotary Youth Exchange Scholarships

Applications are now open for 2018 Rotary Exchange Scholarships. They close on March 31 2017.

Students aged 15 – 18 years are invited to apply. Successful applicants get to have a life changing experience spending 12 months as Australian Youth Ambassadors in a foreign country.

There is a significant application process. If you are considering applying you should start now by visiting the Western Australian Rotary Youth Exchange website.

UWA Fogarty Foundation Scholarships for 2018

Applications open 1 February and close on 30 April 2017.

The UWA Fogarty Foundation Scholarships provide senior secondary students who show significant academic potential, together with a strong sense of community involvement and responsibility in Year 11 and 12, with an opportunity to undertake an undergraduate degree of their choice at The University of Western Australia.

St George's College

National Youth Science Forum

Applications Open for 2018 on 1 March and close 31 May 2017.

The National Youth Science Forum (NYSF) is a 12 day residential program for students entering Year 12 who are passionate about science, technology, engineering and maths. See a YouTube video hereRegister to be notified when applications open.

Medicine Information Session

10.45am Sunday 26 March, Drill Hall (ND25), corner of Croke and Mouat Street, Fremantle

Students interested in studying Medicine at Notre Dame are invited to attend a Medicine Information Session. Learn about the Doctor of Medicine, Pre-Medicine Certificate, the application process, and hear from current Medicine students about their experience. To register, visit the website or contact the Prospective Students Office on 9433 0533.

Big Day In

9am - 2.30pm, Wednesday 5 April, Perth Convention and Exhibition Centre

Head to the Big Day In to hear leading speakers from companies such as Westpac, Ajilon, WiseTech Global, Bankwest, Avanade plus loads more to come, talking about the future of technology and how students can get involved in shaping the future. Simulated Undergraduate Medicine and Health Sciences Admissions Test: Preparation Workshop

9am - 5.30pm, Monday 20 April, UWA

While the Simulated UMAT Day is extremely beneficial for Year 12 students who will be attempting the real UMAT on July 26 2017, this workshop is also highly recommended to anyone in Years 10 - 11 and aiming for a head start in UMAT preparation. Click here for more information or enrol here

Bond with Bond Parent Information Evening

6pm-7.30pm Wednesday 3 May, The Flour Factory, 16 Queens Street, Perth 

Parents can learn more about Bond's: Undergraduate single and combined study programs, industry links and ‘Beyond Bond’ core subject, three-semester-per-year timetable, state-of-the-art facilities, campus life, scholarships, and fees and costs (including FEE-HELP). Register here

Linden US College Fair

5.30pm - 7.30pm, Monday 8 May, Wesley College, Goatcher Auditorium in the Joseph Green Centre

A number of US colleges will have representatives in attendance, including the State University of New York and Central Penn College. These colleges offer a diverse range of high-quality academic, sporting and cultural programs. For example, Embry Riddle Aeronautical University offers a range of courses in (but not limited to) aviation, aeronautics and aerospace, while Fairleigh Dickinson University has one of the top ranked business schools in the US.
