The information/courses listed below are provided in good faith for St Hilda’s parents. They are not organised by the School nor do they form part of the School’s curriculum. Parents should make their own enquiries about the suitability of these activities for their child.

Courses and Community Events

Sacramental Programme

Catholic Sacramental Programme available for St Mary Star of the Sea Cottesloe or Corpus Christi Mosman Park. Click here for the enrolment form.
Enrolment Day : Thursday 2 March between 3pm-5pm at Cottesloe Parish Hall, 2 McNeil St Peppermint Grove. Commitment Family Mass : Sunday 12 March 10am or 5pm at Cottesloe Church.
Classes on Thursdays: 4pm-5pm begins on 16 March at Cottesloe Parish Hall.

Exercise Therapy

The Exercise Therapist runs two junior programs: Breathe Easy, for mindfulness, and Adolescent Strength and Conditioning. It is also running workshops for staff and students on the impact of mindfulness and exercise on anxiety and mental health for the youth. 

The FunPad

The FunPad is a brand new, clean and hygienic mobile soft play centre/jungle gym. Fitted out in a fully refurbished double decker bus, the FunPad’s equipment provides hours of fun for children aged 3-12 years. 

Streetsteps

High energy hip hop dance classes for all ages, from beginner to advanced. Click here for more information about classes and pricing. 

Vogue Performers

Jazz, tap, acrobatics, hip hop, ballet, lyrical, musical theatre and singing for babies to adults. If you mention that you saw this in the newsletter, Vogue Performers will offer new students a 1-week free trial. Click here for more information.

Engaging Adolescents Parent Course

6.45pm - 9.30pm Thursday 2 and 9 March, Wembley
Behaviour Tonics is running the Engaging Adolescents – parenting skills for resolving teenage behaviour problems course. Running over two 2.45 hour sessions it is full of information, tips and practical strategies. Click here for more information.

ADHD Focus Group

7pm-9pm Thursday 23 February and 9.30am-11.30am Friday 24 February, LADS Offices, The Niche, 11 Aberdare Road

Professor Wai Chen, ‎Professor of Child Psychiatry at The University of Western Australia and his team are conducting research into the meaning of ‘recovery’ for children and young people with ADHD. They are inviting parents of children aged 4 – 18 diagnosed with ADHD to participate in a discussion to get an understanding of how children and adolescents understand the concept of recovery in the context of living with ADHD. Subiaco Soccer

Subiaco AFC is based at Rosalie Park, Shenton Park, and strives to offer a safe, progressive, and challenging environment in which junior players can enjoy one of the world’s greatest sports. Registrations are now available. Click here for more details.

Soccer Open Day

1pm - 3pm, Saturday 25 February at Nash Field, Mosman Park
Meet the team managers of the Western Knights soccer club and register for the 2017 season.
Training is once per week with games played on Sundays. Training begins late March/early April and runs until 3 September. The Western Knights has an in-house competition for children U5-U8, MiniRoos for U9s-U11s and Juniors for 12s-15s.
