St Hilda's students in Big Fish production

The Midnite Youth Theatre Company’s talented performers will come together from 16 to 18 August at the Regal Theatre to tell the tale of Big Fish, a new musical that reminds us why we love going to the theatre – for an experience that’s richer, funnier and bigger than life itself.

Based on the novel by Daniel Wallace and the acclaimed film directed by Tim Burton, Big Fish centres on Edward Bloom, a travelling salesman who lives life to the full. Edward’s incredible, larger than life stories thrill everyone around him – most of all, his devoted wife Sandra. But their son Will, about to have a child of his own, is determined to discover the truth behind his father’s epic tales.

The production brings together an ensemble of highly talented drama students from Christ Church Grammar School, John Curtin College of the Arts, Methodist Ladies’ College, Presbyterian Ladies’ College and St Hilda’s Anglican School for Girls.
