Year 7 student Scarlett took on the big stage and performed at Fairbridge Festival over the April 9-11 weekend. Scarlett was a finalist for the Act Belong Commit Fairbridge Festival Quest competition, and performed her own original song ‘Love in Quarantine.’
The song was written in lockdown last year and references the loneliness, separation and fractured relationships caused by it. She sent the song to her friends and grandparents who she was missing to inspire them to stay strong. Scarlett was the youngest finalist and shined during her performance. What a fantastic achievement.
