Clubs and Committees
At the heart of all the programs and initiatives that St Hilda’s offers, we reflect on the best interests of the girls, how can we best support them in achieving a balance in their lives across all domains and we recognise that every girl’s individual needs and capacity may be different? We strive to focus on ensuring that each girl is supported and to assist them in finding a sense of belonging at St Hilda’s. To achieve this, we must have exceptional collaboration between staff and students where respect and communication are upheld.
We aim to empower our students to engage in cocurricular activities because not only are they enjoyable, but they allow for further connections with other students across their own and other year levels. Whether they win, lose, or achieve the top award in the activities they choose, we hope that they enjoy the journey and learn from the experience.
Club
An opportunity for students to connect on a social and fun level in an area they are passionate, interested or have a particular talent in. It is about connection and socialising, developing the confidence to try new and different opportunities in a social setting.
Committee
Made up of 12 students who represent and support a club or initiative within the School. These representatives increase the awareness, engagement, participation and support of the departments or initiative. This is a wonderful leadership opportunity, and the students are required to nominate and a selection process will take place. The students will receive a badge for their commitment and leadership.
St Hilda’s Senior School also has over 40 Clubs and Committees, which students can join.
Some of the opportunities on offer include:
