Year 11 Drama Day – Our Year 11 students immersed themselves in the world of theatre and performance during Drama Day. The day featured engaging workshops and performances encouraging creativity, collaboration, and expression.
Year 12 Drama Afternoon – Our Year 12 students participated in an enriching Drama Afternoon, where they explored the depth of dramatic performance through thoughtful workshops and presentations that fostered artistic growth and confidence.
House Choirs Performance – The House Choirs delivered an outstanding performance, with each house showcasing remarkable musical talent and unity. Congratulations to the winning house, De Grey!
Arts Fest Solo Classical Voice – The Arts Fest Classical Voice Concert was a memorable morning. Our gifted students captivated the audience with their vocal talent and dedication. Congratulations to De Grey for their outstanding performance and well-deserved win.
Arts Fest Solo Dance – Students impressed with dynamic and expressive performances during the Solo Dance competition. Each dancer brought their style and energy, leaving a lasting impression. Congratulations to the winning house, De Grey.
Jazz Showcase Night – The Jazz Showcase featured mesmerising solos and tight ensembles, highlighting the students’ dedication to musical excellence. It was a vibrant celebration of talent and hard work.
Arts Fest Solo Classical Instrumental – Students delivered compelling performances, demonstrating technical mastery and artistic expression. Each piece told a story and reflected our students’ commitment to their craft. Congratulations to the winning house, Blackwood.
Arts Fest Solo Dramatic Monologue – Students brought powerful stories to life through dramatic monologues, showcasing emotional depth and character development. Congratulations to Blackwood for their outstanding performance.
CCGS Combined Concert – Our musicians collaborated with Christ Church Grammar School peers to create a magical evening of music. From refined solos to harmonious ensembles, the concert was a testament to our students’ passion and preparation.

International Women’s Day Engineering Event – We celebrated the innovation and achievements of women in engineering at our International Women’s Day event, inspiring the next generation of future engineers.
Year 11 & 12 “Have Sum Fun” Maths Competition – Students in Years 7–10 demonstrated problem-solving skills and teamwork during this high-energy competition. It was a morning of challenge, learning, and collaborative success.
Year 11 ATAR Geography Excursion – Students deepened their understanding of natural hazards by exploring the Wooroloo bushfire. They gained valuable insights into disaster management and community resilience.
World Maths Day Competition – Students enthusiastically tackled mathematical challenges to celebrate World Maths Day, showcasing analytical thinking and a love of learning in a fun and competitive setting.
Girls served, pitched and ran to sporting success in Term 1.
Year 3–6 Swimming Lessons – Our Junior School students developed foundational swimming skills and water safety awareness through structured and enjoyable lessons.
Senior School Interhouse Swimming Carnival – Senior School students displayed incredible skill and sportsmanship in the pool. Congratulations to Blackwood for taking home the win and to all participants for their commitment and energy.
Junior School Swim Carnival – Our younger swimmers demonstrated enthusiasm, team spirit, and perseverance in an action-packed day of races and relays.
Year 3–6 Tennis Academy Plate – Congratulations to our Year 4–6 Tennis Academy players for winning the 2025 Academy Plate for the second consecutive year—an outstanding achievement.
IGSSA Swimming Carnival – St Hilda’s secured the championship title for the fifth consecutive year at the IGSSA Swimming Carnival. All year group pennants were won for the third year running, and four records were broken. Congratulations to our swimmers, coaches, PE staff, and Ms McGurk for this incredible achievement.
JIGSSA Swim Meet Year 4–6 – Our young swimmers delivered fantastic performances and showed great camaraderie as they competed and supported one another.
Mursell Shield Tennis Tournament – Year 10–12 students proudly represented the School. One team reached the Division 1 semi-finals, while another advanced to the Division 2 finals, an outstanding result.
Year 4 JIGSSA Summer Games – Students participated with energy and enthusiasm in various athletic events, showcasing their determination and team spirit.
JIGSSA Swim Carnival Year 4–6 – A proud moment as our students demonstrated exceptional sportsmanship, determination, and swimming ability.
IGSSA Badminton Year 11 & 12 – Our Senior School teams displayed skill and integrity during the IGSSA competition. Our B and C teams claimed victory in their divisions, with the A team placing a commendable fourth.
Senior School Interhouse Cross-Country – The Cross-Country event was filled with grit and school spirit. Congratulations to all who participated and represented their Houses with pride.
This Term, our girls came together.
Combined Activity with Christ Church Grammar School – Year 8 students participated in a series of collaborative activities in preparation for their upcoming camp. The program fosters leadership and teamwork, encouraging empathy and resilience.
Ignite Program Launch with Scotch – Year 5 students engaged in leadership-building activities as part of the Ignite Program. This initiative promotes coeducational collaboration, open-mindedness, and meaningful relationship-building.
Easter Service – Our Easter Service brought the community together to celebrate hope and reflection. Students shared music, messages, and meaningful moments as we embraced the spirit of renewal.
Students stepped outside their comfort zones in Term 1.
Japan Ski Tour – Students experienced the wonders of Japan’s slopes during the holiday Ski Tour. From Niseko to Hakuba, the trip was a unique blend of adventure, culture, and camaraderie.
Year 3 Outdoor Ed Excursion to Aqua – Year 3 students enjoyed a day outdoors, learning new skills and embracing nature through experiential education at Aqua.
De Grey Wandering Spirit – Year 9 students from De Grey embarked on the Wandering Spirit retreat, developing a deeper understanding of self, community, and environment as they transition into young adulthood.

Year 12 Ball – The Year 12 Ball was a spectacular evening filled with elegance, celebration, and connection, a fitting way to begin their final year at St Hilda’s.
Year 11 Dinner Dance – Students came together to enjoy a night of dining and dancing, marking a significant milestone with joy and friendship.
Year 7 & 8 Boarding Disco Night – Boarding students celebrated at the disco night, sharing laughter, music, and a vibrant sense of community.
Junior School Family Day – Families gathered for fun games, entertainment, and shared moments. The event fostered community spirit and lasting memories for students and their families.
