Year 10 Boarding Bursaries

Year 10 Boarding Bursaries
The June Johnston Memorial Scholarship and Women In Leadership Scholarship are needs-based bursaries available to rural, regional or remote students (external) entering Year 10 in 2026, who may not have the means to attend but would flourish at St Hilda’s. This bursary is awarded based on a student’s ability to thrive academically and shine in an area of interest e.g. music, sport, dance/drama, or community service.
The bursary covers 100% of the boarding and tuition fees and is tenable for the duration of a girl’s education at St Hilda’s (subject to satisfactory academic performance and contribution to school life).
Please note: Should an applicant be shortlisted, the family will be required to provide full financials to the School (which will be kept in strict confidence) in order to qualify.
Applicants are required to provide the following:
- Past two school reports,
- A curriculum vitae outlining their achievements outside the classroom and,
- A handwritten letter by the applicant (no more than one page) outlining why they should receive the bursary.
Applications for the June Johnston Memorial Scholarship and Women In Leadership Scholarship Close: 30 June 2025. Interviews will commence in August. No late applications will be accepted.
