Year 7 Needs-Based Bursary

Year 7 Needs-based Bursaries

The St Hilda’s Bursary aims to assist a young girl to have the best opportunity to make the most of their potential.  The bursary covers all fees and additional costs associated with an education at St Hilda’s and is offered to a student entering Year 7 in 2026 who shows academic potential but is facing financial hardship. We believe that with the right support, these students can achieve their personal goals and open up new pathways in their lives.

Applications are open to external students who are Australian citizens, who will be entering Year 7 in 2026 and, in the opinion of the Principal:

  • Would not, for financial reasons, otherwise be able to attend the school;
  • Displays academic and leadership potential and is aspiring to tertiary education;
  • Is actively involved in their community through cocurricular activities or other endeavours and is keen to contribute to the life of St Hilda’s.

Please note: Should an applicant be shortlisted, the family will be required to provide full financials to the School (which will be kept in strict confidence) in order to qualify.

The bursary includes tuition fees associated with an education at St Hilda’s for a day pupil for Years 7 -12.

Applicants are required to provide the following:

  • Past two school reports
  • Year 5 NAPLAN report
  • A curriculum vitae outlining their achievements outside the classroom
  • Handwritten cover letter

Applications close 30 June. Interviews will commence in August. No late applications will be accepted.
