Celebrating an Extraordinary Term 3 at St Hilda\u2019s<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/h2>\n

As Term 3 draws to a close, we reflect on <\/span>a Term<\/span> filled with community, creativity, achievement, and unforgettable memories. From the athletics track to the theatre stage, from classrooms to campsites, our students have embraced every opportunity with energy and excellence.<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Community<\/span> Moments to Treasure<\/span><\/span><\/h2>\n

NAIDOC Week<\/strong> \u2013 Both schools enjoyed a week of cultural learning and celebration, with themed dinners, Indigenous bracelet-making, and arts and crafts that honoured the rich traditions of Indigenous culture.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

100 Days of School<\/strong> \u2013 A milestone moment for our Pre-Primary students as they marked 100 days of their St Hilda\u2019s educational journey.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

National Science Week<\/strong> \u2013 Students across our Senior School participated in Science experiments, quizzes, and activities, with our Year 12 students competing in the annual Chemistry Titration competition.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Book Week<\/strong> \u2013 Guest authors and illustrators joined us to give workshops on book creation, inspiring our Junior School girls. Students also lit up the Book Week Parade with spectacular costumes, bringing their favourite stories to life.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

2026 Senior Leadership Group<\/strong> \u2013 We proudly announced our new Year 11 leadership team, ready to step into their roles next year.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Father-Daughter Dinner Dance<\/strong> \u2013 Our Year 12 students enjoyed a special evening with their father figures. The night was a celebration of elegance, honouring love, family, and tradition.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Father\u2019s Day Breakfast<\/strong> \u2013 Our Junior School fathers joined us for a joyful morning of pastries, games, and crafts, making treasured memories with their daughters.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Grandparents\u2019 Day<\/strong> \u2013 A heartwarming day where Junior School grandparents enjoyed student musical performances and joined in arts and crafts with their grandchildren.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

OSA Ammonite Pin Presentation<\/strong> \u2013 39 students received their lapel pins, honouring the multi-generational traditions of our Old Scholars Association.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Academic <\/span>Achievements<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/h2>\n

WADL Debating Champions<\/strong> \u2013 Both our Junior and Novice teams claimed victory, bringing home two trophies in the Western Australian Debating League.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

PECAN+ National Cybersecurity Success<\/strong> \u2013 Congratulations to Amarni, Aaralen, and Rani for placing 1st among all-girls teams nationwide and 48th overall in the PECAN+ Capture the Flag competition.<\/span><\/p>\n

Tournament of Minds Finalists<\/strong> \u2013 Six Junior School students reached the WA State Finals of the Tournament of Minds competition in the Social Science category \u2013 congratulations, Tessa, Josie, Aria, Aurora, Cathie and Carla!<\/span><\/p>\n

A Celebration of the Arts<\/span><\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/h2>\n

Concerto Night<\/strong> \u2013 12 of our top Senior School musicians captivated the audience with harmonious solo performances of remarkable skill in our Annual Concerto Night.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The Amazing Adventures of SuperStan<\/strong> \u2013 Our Year 6 students dazzled us with a fun-filled musical of dancing, acting, and singing.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Music on the Move<\/strong> \u2013 An extraordinary night of performances across three venues, showcasing the breadth of our musical talent.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Chidley Performance Festival<\/strong> \u2013 Over 180 Junior School students wowed us at the 4th annual festival, performing across a variety of instruments.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

IGSSA Dance Festival<\/strong> \u2013 Our Senior Dance Team lit up the stage with a lyrical tribute and a high-energy hip-hop piece – raising the bar year on year!<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Adventures Beyond the Classroom<\/span><\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/h2>\n

Wooleen Camp<\/strong> \u2013 Year 10 students immersed themselves in outdoor learning, cultural history, and conservation while discovering more about themselves.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Wandering Spirit <\/strong>\u2013 Our Year 9 Fitzroy and Gascoyne students returned from their Wandering Spirit trips with stories of independence, connection, and personal growth after their wilderness journeys.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Sporting Highlights<\/span><\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/h2>\n

Kindy\u2013Year 2 Fun Athletics Day<\/strong> \u2013 Our youngest students had a joyful day of running, jumping, and sporting fun, showcasing what they\u2019ve learnt in PE lessons to friends and family.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

JIGSSA Cross Country<\/strong> \u2013 Junior athletes ran with determination and team spirit, attaining outstanding results. With Year 3 as pennant winners and Year 4 and Year 5<\/span> achieving 2<\/span>nd<\/span> Overall.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

IGSSA Golf<\/strong> Competition<\/strong> \u2013 Three teams represented St Hilda\u2019s with distinction, with two teams tying for 1st place at the 9-Hole Ambrose Competition.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

IGSSA Athletics Carnival<\/strong> \u2013 Our Senior School athletes from Years 7-12 shone at the WA Athletics Stadium, achieving overall results of 3rd in Track, 3rd in Field, and 3rd Overall School.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Interhouse Athletics (Y3\u20136)<\/strong> \u2013 Our Junior School students showcased their athletic skills and house spirit in friendly competition in the annual Interhouse Athletics Carnival.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
