What makes St Hilda's approach to girls' leadership education different?
Leadership at St Hilda’s is structured, research informed and embedded across Years 5 to 12. We combine identity development, financial literacy, entrepreneurship and industry partnerships to ensure every girl develops confidence and agency.
What leadership programs does St Hilda's offer for girls?
Students participate in the Funny Girls program in Year 5, Lean In in Year 7, and may elect to join the Purposeful Leaders Program in Year 11 in partnership with Future Female Leaders. Leadership is also embedded in MoneyVest and ESSTEAM™.
How does St Hilda’s teach girls financial leadership?
Through our MoneyVest program, students in Years 7 to 12 learn budgeting, investing, evaluating risk and making informed financial decisions. Financial literacy builds independence and long term confidence.
Does my daughter need to be a prefect or student councillor to develop leadership skills at St Hilda's?
No. While students can hold formal leadership positions such as Student Councillor or Prefect, leadership at St Hilda’s is viewed as a mindset available to every girl.
How does St Hilda's use entrepreneurship to build leadership skills in girls?
通过 ESSTEAM™, students solve real world problems, pitch ideas and collaborate on sustainable solutions. This develops initiative, resilience and the confidence to influence change.
