助学金

• There will be no application fee and no testing. These applications will follow the same timeline as the Academic and General Excellence scholarships.

For the 2028 intake, scholarship opportunities are available for eligible girls entering Years 5, 6, 7, 8, 9 and 10.

The scholarships available vary according to the student’s entry Year and whether she is a current St Hilda’s student or applying to join the School. Please refer to the eligibility table above for details

Scholarships recognise academic achievement, potential and strengths or achievements beyond the classroom.

Needs Based Bursaries provide financial assistance to eligible families where financial circumstances may otherwise be a barrier to accessing a St Hilda’s education.

Applicants for Needs Based Bursaries are also considered on academic achievement and potential, character and their willingness to contribute positively to the St Hilda’s community.

Eligibility, entry Years and selection criteria vary according to each scholarship or bursary.

St Hilda’s does not offer separate Sport, Music, Dance or Drama Scholarships.

Yes. Current St Hilda’s students entering Year 7 in 2028 may apply for eligible scholarships.

Different eligibility criteria apply to current and prospective students, so families should refer to the eligibility table above before applying.

First preference application fees:

• Sitting the test at first preference school: $125.00
• Sitting the test remotely: $250.00 (for families living more than 400km from the Perth Metro)
• Sitting the test overseas: $350.00
• Additional preference application fees: Each additional preference will incur an additional fee of $60.00.

There is no application fee for those applying for Needs-based bursaries and Indigenous Scholarships.

Applicants complete a series of academic assessments administered by the scholarship testing provider.

The assessments are designed to evaluate academic ability and potential across a range of areas.

Families will receive information about arrival times, testing duration, what students should bring and any other requirements before the testing date.

As per the joint co-op info guide: Special Circumstances: Applicants who are ill (with an official doctor’s certificate) or unable to attend on the day due to a school camp, must notify their first-preference school immediately. A special circumstances online test will incur an additional application fee of $150.00.

Remote testing arrangements may be available for eligible applicants who live a significant distance from St Hilda’s (over 400km), including students from regional or remote Western Australia and, where applicable, overseas.

Families should apply for remote testing by the published deadline and follow the instructions provided during the application process.

The value of a St Hilda’s scholarship varies according to the scholarship awarded.

Academic and General Excellence Scholarships and Boarding Scholarships may provide a reduction of up to 50% of tuition fees.

Other scholarships may have different values and conditions. Families should refer to the information provided for each individual scholarship.

No. Confirming your daughter’s enrolment does not influence the Scholarship Committee’s assessment or increase her likelihood of receiving a scholarship.

Scholarships are awarded according to the relevant selection criteria.

Families should be aware that places at St Hilda’s may fill independently of the scholarship process, so they should consider their enrolment decision separately from their scholarship application.
