慈善事业

Embedded in our culture is the philosophy of giving back. We teach our girls that education is precious and that their education at St Hilda’s will allow them to shine.

In 1899, Mihi Cura Futuri (The Future is our Responsibility) was the School’s first motto. This focus on the care of the future sums up all that we aim to achieve in philanthropy at St Hilda’s. Philanthropy shows an understanding of how investment today pays off well into the future.

Building on our strategic vision of empowering young women to create extraordinary futures is the focus of our philanthropic efforts.

What does Philanthropy look like at St Hilda’s?

There are so many opportunities to support and be actively involved in philanthropy in the St Hilda’s community, as a volunteer and as a donor.

Through tax-deductible donations, St Hilda’s can continue to reinvest in quality learning spaces and provide scholarships to those less fortunate. Our donors believe a St Hilda’s education positively impacts our community and are keen to support us to ensure the School continues to evolve and flourish into the future.

St Hilda’s allows girls to find their passion and shine. This requires investment in new programs, contemporary buildings and facilities for students today and tomorrow.

We invite you to donate to St Hilda’s so we can continue to provide an exemplary education to girls in Western Australia.

All donations to our scholarship and building funds are fully tax-deductible. To find out how you might contribute to shaping the future of St Hilda’s, please email 慈善事业 or call 08 9285 4229 to find out more.

St Hilda’s Foundation

The School’s Foundation was established in 1987 to provide a firm base for the long-term financial security and independence of the School. Supported by the Foundation the community raised funds for many of the Schools’ most important building and facilities including the Joy Shepherd Performing Arts Centre, the Chidley Junior School Campus and the Chapel.

The Offer Society

The Offer Society recognises St Hilda’s donors. It is named after Shirley Offer, an esteemed alumni and extraordinary community contributor. In 2009, St Hilda’s received a transformational bequest from Old Scholar, Shirley Offer (1944). This bequest enabled the School to build the Joy Shepherd Performing Arts Centre in 2011. In recognition of Ms Offer’s generosity and her love of St Hilda’s, the Offer Society was formed in her memory.

Building Our Future

Building and maintaining three campuses requires significant and ongoing capital investment. One way we thank the donors to the Building Fund is by acknowledging their family or daughter(s) through a Joy Shepherd Performing Arts Seat plaque or Boarding House boarding room plaque.

遗产中心

The Heritage Centre will be a special place that honours the history and the legacy of the school. Situated in the original farm house, Hope Nicholas House, it will be an elegant tribute to the school’s students, staff and principals over 125 years.

遗嘱和遗赠

Celebrate the joy of giving by coming together to hear how the future of the School is supported by our donors the impact of their philanthropic support.

基于需求的助学金

A donation of any size will make a difference to a child’s life, opening up opportunities and offering educational opportunities they could only dream about. Our scholarships are needs-based so you know that your donation is going to a family who needs it most. A comprehensive needs-based scholarship program provides access to those who deserve an educational opportunity beyond their current situation.

捐赠的影响

Modern education owes its place to the foresight of generations before us. St Hilda’s has been fortunate to have supporters throughout its history who have understood the need to invest in the school – its buildings and its programs.

离校生助学金

As a parting gift to the School, girls have shown their appreciation by passing forward a legacy. St Hilda’s graduates have contributed towards a Leavers Bursary, a fund which will grow over time to create a needs-based scholarship in their name. The funds donated will provide educational support for a future Old Scholar.
