St Hilda’s was proud to support the United Nations Association of Australia’s Young Women’s Leadership Development Program, recently held at Curtin University.

This transformative two-day program offered young women aged 15 to 18 the opportunity to develop key leadership skills and confidence to become future leaders. Thanks to St Hilda’s support, girls from diverse backgrounds could attend the program free of charge.

Fiona Johnston’s presentation on the importance of leaning into leadership as a woman was warmly received. Lucy (Year 10) proudly represented St Hilda’s at the event.

A special thank you to current parent Katherine Zhao for coordinating the event. Katherine sits on the United Nations Association of Australia (WA) Gender Equality Committee, working alongside passionate advocates for women in leadership.
