St Hilda's Netball Club
St Hilda’s Netball Club is a non-selective club for students in Years 2 – 12 who wish to represent their school in the Perth Netball Association (PNA) Winter Competition. SHNC runs separately from activities organised by the Junior and Senior School Physical Education Departments (including IGSSA netball).
Netball continues to grow in popularity, and due to team and player limits imposed by the Netball Association’s governing body, places will be limited. As such, priority enrolments will initially be offered to 2025 registered SHNC students only, on a first-in, first-served basis.
If your daughter was a SHNC player in 2025, you will receive an email at 8.00am on Monday 17 November (Week 6) with registrations opening at 9.00am for the upcoming 2026 season. Please contact emma.cosh@sthildas.wa.edu.au if you do not receive the email. We encourage you to register promptly to avoid disappointment. Priority registrations will close at 3.00pm on Wednesday 26 November (Week 7).
Should places be available after this process, an email will be sent to all St Hilda’s families whose daughters would like to join the SHNC in 2026 for their year level at 8.00am on Friday 28 November (Week 7) with registrations opening at 9.00am. Again, these will be offered on a first-in, first-served basis. Registrations close on Friday 5 December 2025 (Week 8)
Please be aware that, unfortunately, we may be unable to accommodate the demand in some year levels, and some girls may be disappointed. If this is the case, we highly recommend you join the waitlist. However, please note that being on the waitlist does not guarantee a place with SHNC. All applicants on the waitlist will be notified after the SHNC trial period if a place becomes available. Selection from the waitlist will be based on the order of registration and the required playing positions. Girls who are unsuccessful in gaining a position are encouraged to consider registering at an alternative club.
Before registering your daughter, please ensure you have reviewed the SHNC Member Booklet and PNA Winter Season dates to understand the competition commitments across Terms 1 to 3.
